Built into an old hat factory.
Kreuzberg, Berlin. Since 2016.
Kung Fu Studios were founded in 2016, built into an old hat factory in the heart of Kreuzberg. The machines are long gone — now state-of-the-art gear meets vintage instruments. The hat factory turned hit factory.
Kung Fu Studios is the vision of Marek Pompetzki — songwriter, producer, and mixing engineer.
Over the past two decades, Marek has written and produced for some of the biggest names in music — from Miley Cyrus, Kelly Rowland, Alvaro Soler and Aloe Blacc to the artists shaping German pop and rap today: Sido, Adel Tawil, Deichkind, UFO361 and Shirin David. His signature blend of pop melody and urban edge runs through chart-topping hits like “Astronaut”, “Rooftop” and “Gib Ihm”.
The numbers speak for themselves: a Diamond award, 50 Platinum and 225 Gold records, and 17 Number One Awards — all earned as a writer and producer — alongside a BMI Song of the Year, a GEMA Song of the Year, and multiple ECHO awards.
Kung Fu Studios is the place all of that led to — and a home for everyone chasing the same thing.
